What is LVT?
LVT’s are luxury vinyl tiles created with 3D printing technology to add depth, realism and a strong wear layer to your flooring.
How soon after installation should my LVT be cleaned?
For Karndean luxury vinyl tiles, the manufacturer recommends waiting 24 hours after installation before cleaning.
How easy is it to clean and maintain vinyl tiles?
Karndean design flooring includes a PU protective surface to reduce the potential of scuff and scratching. However, all LVT’s will benefit from regular cleaning, sweeping & mopping, with a pH neutral cleaner.
Can spilt liquids seep through the tile edges?
Your luxury vinyl flooring should be fitted tightly together so that spillages cannot seep through. As a precaution, spillages should always be cleaned up straight away.
Do LVT’s stain?
Common stains do not generally affect LVT. However, solvent based liquid have the potential to stain a vinyl tile.
How can I protect vinyl tiles from furniture?
Placing felt pads under the feet of your furniture will decrease the chance of scratching and scuffing.
Are luxury vinyl tiles fire-proof?
All flooring must adhere to European standards of fire resistance.
